Kedneys are responsible for filtering out toxic substances from blood. This process leads to urine forming. During twenty-four hours the kidneys filter about 170-180 litres of blood. |

| People are not the only ones who use diapers. Sometimes also animals wear them. They find application for example in horses, which dung is later used as manure. In movies or TV programmes you can see diapered monkeys or chimps. Some dog owners diaper their she dogs on heat.

| Urinary system in women differs from this in men. The endpoint of the system - the urethra - has 3-4 cm in women and about 20 cm in men. Male urethra is also a part of genital system and functions as a semen outlet.
Urinary and genital systems form one genitourinary system, which ows its complex structure to mutual origin from one primordium.
